LOCATOR - zip+4

  1. If you don't know you're zip+4 click here to get it.
  2. Click here to find your precinct and election office. A new browser window will appear and this page will remain underneath. This is called the "VoteSmart" site. Enter your zip+4 at the left side of the page that pops up to see a list of current officials followed by candidates for the upcoming election. You can get basic biographical and other data about each of the candidates from the VoteSmart page by clicking on their names. Spend all the time there you want. You may want to print out your list of candidates for your convenience.
  3. Now that you know who your candidates will be, close the VoteSmart window to return to THE GUIDE so you can participate in a debate among them. This is where the fun begins!
  • If all you want to do is read you won't have to join. Just click on "Debate" to the left in order to find the debates for the candidates in your precinct.
  • If you would like to ask the candidates questions or make comments, or chat with other users then you will need to join the forum community by clicking on the "Join" button to the left. If you have already joined click on "Log In."
