Users are the second of our four essential ingredients in the fuel we will be using to ignite free trade, and arguably the most vital.

The Internet is unique in that it can bring people from thousands of miles apart into closely knit communities. However, there is also a tendency to wander around aimlessly.

LIFT will provide a vision to its members, who will share that vision with others and this will help us all stay united as a community. At the same time, we will provide attractiveness to our web site, making it useful for anyone. We need to design a system that will be each Internet user's preferred home page, their portal to the Internet. To do this we will be incorporating a modified Google search engine look up service. Of the most visited web sites on the Internet, eight of ten are search engines. Searching is the most common Internet activity next to email.

But even the best forum communities and search engine is not enough to attract new users all by itself. That is why we need the ROCKET System. This will reward microbusinesses for referring new members to individual forum posts or search results as they communicate with one another through email or other means. Spreading the word about LIFT is a matter of introducing people to the community one idea at a time, letting our member microbusinesses share their interests and specialties.

As an example, let's say you liked baseball. Start a fan club for your favorite player or team. Invite your friends, who share a common interest to join in. When they join through you, you become the "referrer." This new member is then part of your personal community. If they upgrade their membership and you've decided to become a microbusiness that accepts cash commissions for referrals, then you get paid up to 20% of their ongoing member dues. Forum Communities require both quality and quantity to be effective and useful for participants. Our users will be the key to our success. LIFT will seek out experts and celebrities to make our online community vital and interesting. But we also invite all of our members to contribute both to the content of our site through their forum posts and to our member growth.
