TIMETABLE
I have now created a preliminary site and a temporary forum for our use. I have set a 30 day limit on getting LIFT ignited, which is to say I am working quickly. I will be looking for our Board of Directors this month and seeking initial funding during the month of February. For details, please, read our forum's welcome message.

Can I challenge you to help me get LIFT ignited before February ends? Once our Board of Directors is selected and we have finished our research we will begin development. I will keep you apprised through this timetable page of our development schedule and the amount of any accumulated donations.

My best guess at this point is that it will take at least two years to achieve the competitive level I envision for our search engine and forums. In the meantime, we will be able to accomplish much through what we already have and through less sophisticated means.

Along the way we will be measuring our progress and reporting it here. Altough it will take some time to automate the HAND System, the ROCKET System and the ARRIVAL System, we can still do things the old fashioned way and just get the job done. I'll learn how to use a slide rule if I have to. At the moment, it is too early to tell how much funding we'll actually receive and when. Therefore, it would be a complete shot in the dark as to how much we ought to be able to accomplish and by which date. So I will refrain from conjecture.
