Dear Lord,
Last night I had a dream. I was wrestling Osama Bin Laden all night
long. Before the wrestling started I remember shaking his hand.
I was in his camp and had to be very careful with him. If he perceived
that I was his enemy he would have me killed. He took on various
demonic forms as we fought. He had much power. But I also had much
power in You. In fact, I could hear my calling to victory and my
assignment to his camp in prayer. This non-carnal weapon of warfare
is perfected when I realize Your love, that You died for Osama Bin
Laden. Lord, You died for him and for all those people that Americans
are in the habit of hating. But You called us to pray for our enemies
rather than hate them. You call us to love them. This was Your commandment.
That is why Osama Bin Laden was unable to detect that I did not
belong in his camp at first. Because of Your love I was innocent.
You have made me a number of enemies in my life so that I could
slowly learn to forgive them and love them with Your beautiful love.
I have seen some of this. But it has not been perfected in me yet.
Please, perfect this love in me. Make me to be perfectly innocent.
Give me a perfect burden of prayer for my enemies, that they should
come to know You, the Living God, that they should turn from their
evil.
Lord, in Faluja many are dying and probably going to hell. What
can I say? That I am happy that the Americans are killing many terrorists?
Part of me is very glad that their death means safety for others.
But should I disregard their souls when you gave Your life for them?
These have never heard Your gospel. They do not believe in You because
they have only heard lies about You. Will you then condemn them
to eternal damnation? I pray You won't. I don't think that You will.
You judge the spirit fairly and rightly.
Lord, I repeat my prayer to You again, that You will convert 100
Osama Bin Laden's to 100 Saint Pauls. You had compassion on the
people You served because You saw that they had no shepherd. These
people also walk in darkness. Show them the light of truth. Let
them know You. Show them Your love! And teach us to be innocent
in their midst by loving rather than judging. Teach us to pray constantly
for our own souls and for theirs. Let there be revival in East and
West.
